project ukraine: day 11 // july 4

happy 4th of july!! we're heading out of ukraine today to munich, germany. you know, we did start the camp with an american day - maybe we should be "those" kind of americans and wear all of our obnoxious red, white, and blue garb all through the airports and such.... that wouldn't reinforce the negative view of us arrogant americans now would it? :)

1:05 we fly out of the l'viv airport to munich
2:00 short flight! we arrive in munich
3:00 depart airport and head to the hotel
6:00 oh here we come, german people... look out.

gonna eat german food, drink german beverages, shop at german stores, and not make one nazi joke. kidding. couldn't resist.

i figure this will be a pretty low key evening - camp is over, had some traveling, we're definitely tired. i predict we'll all be less "touristy" and more laid back. tomorrow: we'll be the annoying tourists!

pray for:
- a love that is evident and that the evidence points clearly to Jesus
- safe travel
- catching up on a little rest if possible

what the team is reflecting on for day 11:
matthew 22:36-38
36"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" 37And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38This is the great and first commandment.

deuteronomy 6:5-6
5You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
